KORG, 105.3 FM is on the air in Cleveland.
KORG stand for Operation Refuge Gives. As the only local radio station
operating in Cleveland
we provide country, black and southern gospel music.
When
we learned that the Federal Communications Commission was going
to release a low power FM station to a non-profit organization
in Cleveland we applied and received the construction permit.
This station is currently housed in the food pantry
until a new radio station building can be constructed on the Blair St property.
If you enjoy listening to 105.3 on your station, would you consider becoming
a partner with
us?
We have plans to provide local community news,
weather updates, children's programming and youth programming in the future.
However, we need a building that can house the production and broadcasting rooms.
Together we can make a difference in Cleveland. You can mail your donation to
O.R.I. at P. O. Box 355 Cleveland, TX 77328.
Whats New
The daily program has a fresh
new look. A word of special thanks to Peggy Dunn, Barbara Toler, Linda
Whitener, Dwain Forester, Joshua Good and Billy
Redus for their help with the music. A special note of thanks to Jason Bennett
in Oklahoma for the many hours spent filing applications, consultations
and help.
There is a new program at 7 a.m. noon, and 5 p.m.
called "What's Up in Cleveland". It has a daily devotional, community,
school, and church news.
To find out local news you can tune in Monday through Friday.
We are very thankful for our new sponsor of the
radio station. Glen and Barbara Toler, Pace/Stancil Funeral Homes, The Ark Christian
Book Store/Teacher's Supply and Alma's Florist are the ones making this station
possible. If you enjoy listening to the new inspiration station, please let them
know how much you appreciate the new KORG, 105.3 FM radio.
