why does my light/fan turn on by itself?? (remote controlled on/off)?

I have a ceiling fan in my dining room with a remote control on/off for the light and fan, and the light randomly turns on throughout the day and even in the middle of the night, I would say 3 or 4 times a week, and just today I turned the fan off 3 times, and its not someone playing tricks, because I was home alone. The light has randomly turned on for others too. I live in a modeler park, and am thinking there must be someone else with the same controller, but I'm not sure if it works like that, and we just recently moved a computer with wireless internet into the dining room and someone suggested it was the wireless, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions will help...anyone else have this problem?

Obvious answer is someone else has a remote using the same frequency and code, and is the most likely. ESPECIALLY if it is a radio remote.
IF possible, change the code for your units. (both the receiver in the fan and the remote need to be changed.)

If it is an infrared remote or sound remote, the problem is most likely something else. (I once has a sound remote TV, and the dog could change channels by shaking his head!) Sound remotes are not used much anymore.

Your wireless could possibly cause the problem, but it is not likely. IF you have a wireless mouse or keyboard, these are usually infrared, and could be the problem.

Are there any good invisible light cameras?

Are there any cameras that record an image in visible light and invisible light, but separately? I'm thinking if it sees infrared or ultraviolet, the infrared or ultraviolet could be stored as a fourth primary color or something. I have a digital camera and a camcorder that both see infrared already. With the camcorder infrared just looks green and with the digital camera infrared just looks purple. I don't want to mess up the visible image with the false color garbage.
I can already take a pure infrared picture now, because I have a filter that blocks visible light. Like I said, I was hoping to take a picture that includes visible and invisible information separately so I could later use some sort of software to choose how I see them together or separately.

The human eye can't see infrared or ultraviolet, so it must be translated into a color we can see. There is no 4th primary color, there are only 3, and non-visible frequencies have to be translated into some combination of those colors. If you have a visible light image of the same scene, then the translated infrared image will conflict.

Where can I get some high-speed pneumatic tool accessories?

I have an old high-speed Blue Dart pneumatic dremel-like tool, but I seem to have lost most of the accessories. It, like many similar tools, uses a chuck to attach stuff to it. Does anyone know where I can get good, safe attachments for my tool? Thanks in advance.
BTW: dremels use a much slower speed than my tool, so I am sure that dremel accessories would break if I used them.

Go to a jewelry supply store. Jewelers use pneumatic tools and that is where they get their accessories.

Security Camera Infrared Bullet what to install?

I want to install some security cameras at my house and not sure what type of cameras to install. I was thinking IR bullets. What do you think?

Here’s a demo video and where I get my IR cameras that I’ve installed in the past that have worked out great for me. If you want to see and record whats going on at night you might want to consider a different camera for your install.

If your residence in a very hot or cold environment and you plan on having these cameras up for a long time you might want to install a box camera or a large IR camera with a heater and blower built in. These cameras are a bit larger and not as attractive on a house as those small IR bullets but will last longer or you could just install the small IR bullet and see how long it’ll last before you have to replace it.

If you want to be a little more discreet about the cameras you might want to install them under your roofs over hang.
