why Malaysian passport cover is red?
why our passport color is red and same to Japanese one? coz we have a "king", is it? According to my observation, I find "Republic of Something" passport cover would be green? like Taiwan, Korea, Singapore... is it the rule?
what are the elements to decide a passport's covert color?
A country can select any colour for its passport. However, it is not due to monarch/republic or something. If my memory serves me well, China's passport is also red, but China is a republic. UK for example used to have it blue, but changed it to dark red or something in order to comfirm with the rest of EU.
Some countries have variety of colours for passport, the ordinary one has different colours than the diplomatic, etc.
